Pros and Cons of my height

Over lunch which consisted of wagyu beef (yummy!!!), I was told several things.

Because I am short, lightning will not strike me as long as someone taller is walking alongside me. And almost everyone is taller than me. So I need not worry about lightning. Even in the event that I raise my hand, Benson will still be the one to be prey to lightning, not me.

However, because I am short, floods are fearsome phenomenons to me. One flood - and I am gone.

Thankfully, in Singapore, the drainage systems are sufficiently good enough so that floods that could potentially cover my head, leading to my tragic death is close to nil. Lightning, on the other hand, is plentiful here, and forever on the lookout for new victims. Conclusion: it is ideal for me to live in Singapore.

I was also told that if Benson was so kind as to shelter me with his umbrella on a pouring day, his effort will be for naught. He is so tall that the umbrella in his hand will not be able to shelter me.

These coming from my colleagues - I can only conclude that we are indeed getting closer...

Come come and gather pls!

There's a first for everything! Now, I'm not Enbin, who always have double meanings in his entries (eg his description of how HIS RUBBER broke, leading to the 'shitty' accident); my first is pure and innocent - one sec sch class gathering and one jc class gathering, all combined in one weekend! Must be the date of sch reopening nearing that propelled these organisers to hurriedly send out dozens and dozens of smses, to gather and get cosy... Oh, why no pri sch outing? Prob cos the organiser is always me? And that I am finally tired of organising? And if you want a gathering, maybe you should take the initiatives rather than pointing the finger at me? So, moral of the story? I shall wait for pple to organise the next outing. Basing on the reasoning that I have the most contacts doesn't move me enough to organise the next. I will happily send anyone all the contacts =) Try me...

Sec sch class outing was quite a success. Steamboat at Geylang with the attendence of 14 pple, with about half of them whom I still meet up relatively regularly. Perhaps that's why I wasn't THAT excited about the class outing. Plus, din really have the chance to mingle with everyone... But of course, it was still fun and got to thank Jonnie for organising!

NOW, jc class outing is really something! It seems that we have about 27 pple in our class, and about 20 turned up! Well, out of the 7 absentees, 3 were from my clique during jc times (of course anna and karen asses are still my shitty buddies!). It seems that I am always the only representative... Not too nice ah asses.. Maybe the organising should fall to us in future? But I must say Gerald really did a fantastic job! He and his efficient maid prepared all the yummylicious BBQ food! It was the first time that I had such great food during a BBQ! Plus the pool side massage (nothing sleezy ah!). Plus the chaffeuring home! Plus the catching up! Conclusion: It was fun!

Although I was not that close to my JC class during our schooling days, it amazes me that it is always them that brings me more surprise. Instances like my 21st bday, it was my JC's class overwhelming turn up that touched me - to think that I always thought that I am closer to my sec sch frens... Nonetheless, my sec sch days were among the best of my schooling days! Not forgetting my red tables days!!!

Anyway I learnt something today - Never over exert yourself after blood donation, you might suddenly find yourself pms-ing, regardless of the fact that you are a guy!

Delusional

I was telling CC that the red table peeps (or rather only Benny and Suresh) are forever telling how hot I am, how cute my butt is, how a turn-on my heels are... Hahaha... I can just say they are delusional. Then yesterday Aifen has to join in the ranks to comment on my supposedly 'small and perky' butt... Goodness... Never in my entire 23 yrs of living has my butt received so much attention ever!

Last friday, Su he just have to tell my colleague that I looked hot! And he said with such a straight face that I would have believed him if I haven't seen myself in the mirror everyday for the past 8395 days! Today as I was talking to my colleague, I was constantly wondering if he remembered what Su said... Well if he thinks the same way, then jolly well (*gees... floating)! But if he dun think so (damn it!)..... Someone pls get me a spade, I want to dig a hole to bury my head in!!!

Its not so much that I dun enjoy the compliments, its just that coming so often, they dun seem truthful anymore! Telling me once in a while that I look good when I really do will make my day! Just dun say it for the sake of saying. Watching Benny shaking his head when he sees my butt (goodness, should I feel violated?! haha) and commenting that he needs to go toilet makes me 哭笑不得( for the benefit of su, it means dunno whether to cry or laugh). Diaoz......

Nonetheless, being the natural optismist that I am - Thank you for all the compliments!

CC and Red table peeps integrated!

I'm really so glad that CC is finally back! We are spending more time together, esp now that she knows the red table peeps! Well, even my colleague knows them! Haha.. Nothing too much to elaborate about this colleague, especially now that I know that by googling 'LIM JACK WEE', it will link to my blog, I better be careful of what I write in my blog! Cos anyone might come across my positivities! Wahahaha... Anyway in case you haven't received the most outrageous news, LIM JACK WEE google his name when he is bored! The last time he was real bored, he tried on his mum's jewelleries (and this was only about 1 yr ago I think!).. The next time he's super duper bored, I shudder to think what crap he might come out with!

Bebe and Mimi's relationship has finally come to a full stop. They have officially divorced and Suresh Krishnasamy has climbed up the ranks to become No 1 in Bebe's life. The looks they LOVE to give each other and the flying kiss that Bebe just have to smooch Su's way every now and then is pure LUSTY! Me the No 2 is now thinking about transferring my attention while the feelings are still not deep, since they are so lovey dovey =)

One of the choices might be Weewee ah.. Hahaha... First, he is a silent victim, and I can do anything to him! Yeah! Donut Factory donuts pls! I miss the double choc donut! And he gave me a syringe to seal his love.. Diaoz... He said it's priceless since he has to smuggled out of his lab.. After analysing the situation, it might turn out that the syringe, which according to Weewee is only of single use, made of latex and disposable, is indeed priceless, if his fear for Yao is any indication of 'his love' for me... Hahaha

Grad photos update!

Who's the most excited about my commencement? Of course my parents! They said they have been waiting for 23 yrs for this day! Wow, then I'm glad that you 2 finally got what you have wished for!

I din have to take leave for commencement day on 4th July 2007 - Independence Day - how apt!

The sweetest thing that happened that day was of course about Dr Huang! He specially put on a tie, tidied his hair in the gents before taking photos with the 3 Huang's angels! His brilliant smile was of a megawatt enough to blind me! Hmmm he seems to have put on some weight ah but still I love Dr Huang!

It's a must to go back to S9-02-03 Xiao huang's lab to take pics! These are my wonderful labbies for my entire honours, but with the absence of Karen, who has left for better prospect! Wishing you all the best! Shifu Caili must have gone in search of his wife and my little boss Chenwei who went back China... In this small space, I spent half of my most happening year in uni bitching with my lovely labbies!

Then of course I must thank the girls for coming to my commencement! Hehe.. Dor was my camera woman and Lj was my hanger.. My mum felt so bad about letting Lj carry all my stuff but I assured her its alright since I had that role last yr! Goodness! All the 6 of us have graduated! Sayonara to sch, and bid welcome to career!

Finally, the long awaited entry!

Yes, yes, yesh! I know, I know.. This is a long awaited entry. I was told that even Enbin had an entry after my last one! This entry gotta be a chop chop one too.. Cos I need to meet CC at 6pm! Yesh, she is finally back! And we are supposed to go do pedicure tonite! I hope she has fantastic news to share with me soon! Haha... Su and Mimi met her yesterday, and Su did find her hot! Haha... That was a great bday pressie for u eh, my dear Su? Surprise surprise, Mimi managed to click quite well with her! But then again, my best fren must be someone wonderful rite?! Haha...

So many things have happened recently. I cannot rem the order, but CC leaving for her grad trip and now she's back (Hooray!). Commencement 2007 and we are officially graduates! Transformer, robots in disguise! Harry Potter - a major disappointment for myself, but who am I to judge, since I am not a hardcore Harry fan? Dinner by the Quayside - food not fantastic but it was nice to receive a rose that was delivered there. Now before minds start to run wild, all my female colleagues got a rose each! Haha... Sweet gesture coming from my colleague who has the greatest praise from our boss! Haha... Wii playing at another colleague's house! It was super fun! Weewee, if you haven't bought the PSP, I would have encouraged you to buy this Nintendo Wii! Super cool! There is this sensor that is placed above the TV, and you just play games with the remote in your hand. It can capture any motions that you make when you play boxing games, golf or even tennis! I wanna get one too! But too bad, its freaking ex, at least to me!

July - the month where the 4 hunks' bday lies! Happy bday to the 4 darlings! Su, Wee, Enbin and Bebe! Poor Wee, slogging away in his lab and spending so little time with us! I am sure he is sick with missing us! He sounded so forlorn when I called him yesterday! Must be missing Jiesi like mad! Su and Benny, I see them more often! Esp Benny and Wansi! I almost met them everyday this week! Talking about Enbin, tsk tsk.. That flirt.. Haha.. Giving me a flying kiss right in front of his gf! Haha... Learn to be a mite more discreet! Hahahaha..

Goodness! I just love all these people! Honours class of 2007 chemistry!
